Work Schedule: Part-Time

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour

Supervisor: Golf Course Pro Shop Manager

Job Summary:

Performs day-to-day procedures for the golf shop. Responsibilities include opening and closing the pro shop, using point of sale system for sales, booking tee times, answering phones, assisting the pro shop manager with inventory and merchandising, golf cart staging, and maintaining range balls in the range machine.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

 Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Execution of daily operations and objectives of the Golf Shop.
  • Greeting each guest according to Reeves County standards, anticipate their needs, and sending them off with a fond farewell.
  • Maintaining Reeves County merchandising and presentation standards within the Golf Shop.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the entire Golf Shop.
  • Following daily bank and cash handling protocol.
  • Actively assisting guests with their needs and upselling to achieve guest satisfaction/merchandise sales goals.
  • Communicating, coordinating, and executing daily tasks within all areas of staff.
  • Monitor GPS and take necessary action to ensure the 4-hour, 30-minute pace of play policy is upheld.
  • Maintains an active role in understanding the overall golf operation, communication systems, procedures, goals and objectives of Reeves County.
  • Assists the outside service staff with their responsibilities.
  • Assists with tournament set-up and execution.
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned.

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of standard golf course practices.
  • Ability to operate and manage Teesnap Point of Sale System.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

 Experience and Education:

  • Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • The employee is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
  • The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Registration, Certification, or Licensure:

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
