REEVES COUNTY BONFIRE PORTAL

 Beginning August 1, 2024, Reeves County, Texas will be utilizing Bonfire, an online E-bidding and procurement software platform, for vendor registration, solicitation notification and electronic bid submission. The vendor registration portal will open on May 15, 2024 allowing vendors to register for bid alerts.

Note that vendors who are not registered with Bonfire will not be notified of Reeves County solicitations and will not be able to access solicitations until registration is complete.

Therefore, we strongly encourage all current and potential vendors interested in responding to a solicitation to promptly register on our E-bidding platform, Bonfire. Following your registration, Reeves County will issue email alerts via Bonfire for solicitations related to the product or service commodities you selected during
registration.

A  MESSAGE FROM THE PURCHASING AGENT

Welcome to the Reeves County Purchasing Department, the initial contact to doing business with the county. The department was created in 2013 by the district and county judges under local government code section 262.011. By law our department is responsible for buying all materials, supplies, goods, and services used by County departments and offices. All purchases are made according to state, local and federal requirements. , as well as internal policies and procedures. Methods of purchasing include both informal (written quotes) and formal, (advertised & sealed) as required by law.

Our goal is to provide quality service, timely delivery of supplies and cost effective contracts to our internal County Departments, while actively engaging suppliers during solicitations for these services, by using currently recognized best-practice purchasing techniques.
